Roman Chamomile Oil Pure (CAS: 84649-86-5) is an essential oil steam-distilled from the flowers of the Roman Chamomile plant, *Chamaemelum nobile* (formerly *Anthemis nobilis*). It is characterized by a sweet, warm, herbaceous, and apple-like aroma. Chemically, it is rich in esters, primarily isobutyl angelate and isoamyl angelate, which are believed to contribute to its recognized calming, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties. It is often distinguished from German Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) oil, which has a different chemical profile and typically a deeper blue color due to chamazulene.
