Cedarleaf Oil Pure, also known as Thuja Oil, is an essential oil extracted by steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of the Northern White Cedar tree (Thuja occidentalis). It is typically a pale yellow to colorless liquid with a strong, fresh, camphoraceous, woody, and herbaceous aroma. Key chemical constituents include alpha-thujone, beta-thujone, fenchone, sabinene hydrate, and alpha-pinene. Due to its significant thujone content, it is known for its potent biological activity.

Cedarleaf Oil Pure contains high levels of thujone, a known neurotoxin and convulsant. Direct contact with skin should be avoided, and if used topically, it must be heavily diluted.
